This blog publishes recipes that I have tried and tested using my own kitchen and equipment.  I cannot be held responsible for the failure of any of my recipes if they do not turn out as you expect, should you try them out in your own kitchen.

You may not always have the same results I do due to variations in ingredients, humidity, altitude, cooking temperatures, typos, errors, omissions, or individual cooking abilities.  Cooking is all about experimentation – please use my recipes as a guide only.

The information provided here is accurate to the best of my knowledge, but everyone is human and there may be errors, omissions or mistakes that I have not picked up during proofreading.   If you do happen to spot anything obviously wrong with any of my recipes, please leave a comment on that recipe and I will amend it accordingly.  (Please be nice, I’m sensitive)

The use of chilli in some of my recipes is to my personal taste only.  I prefer my chilli with a bit of a kick rather than a blow-your-head-off punch.  If you prefer more of a nudge than a kick, please adjust the quantities of chilli accordingly.

I don’t follow the latest diet trends and I don’t care how many calories there are in a slice of cake.  I believe that anything in moderation cannot be bad for you.  For this reason, I may not publish nutrition information against every recipe (you can translate this into me being basically lazy if you like).    If you would like to calculate the nutritional elements of my recipes there are many online tools available – www.verywellfit.com is one, but you can google for others.

The comments and opinions published here are my personal opinions only.

I reserve the right to change how I manage or run this blog and I may change the focus or content of this blog at any time.

In my previous life, I was an IT Consultant. Now that I've swapped an office for a kitchen I have a lot more time to spend on things that interest me such as trying out new recipes. Most of my cooking is based around quick and easy meals, and you'll probably find a little South African influence creeping in due to the many years I spent there.
